天羽
你飞落人间
扑进你母亲怀里

You flutter down into the human world,
settle in your mother’s bosom.
She folds her wings.
Pure white down blanket gathered below your arms,
you sleep secure.
Soft lamplight caresses you,
your mother’s love covers you.
You are swinging in the sunshine,
laughing in the treetop.
You ripple smooth water.
Like iridescent bubbles of soap,
you leap.
You glitter in the sky,
laughing joyfully.
Your shadows fly,
flitting one by one across your mother’s dreams.
